    Fun Weekend

    June's fun weekend involved an on-road picture based treasure hunt, a reverse trial, and our now customary archery and shooting. The evenings BBQ was a success involving a shed load of free alcohol from a dubious source and a huge gazebo courtesy of Gareth. We promptly forgot the planned evening Welly Wanging competition! I had a bit of hang-over during the Sunday trials which I'm claiming as an excuse for my rubbish start in the first two sections - pictures to follow...

    MAD (Mud And Dust)

    Ok, let’s get the embarrassing bit out of the way before rumours spread. I got stuck, well stuck, needed a tow out. There, I’ve said it so you can get the sniggering out of the way! Anyway, on with the report. For our June greenroad trip I had hoped to try some local UUCRs and byways but the heavy rain the week before forced a change of plan, knowing that a lot of the local routes were not good after heavy rain.     BAMA Event at Millbrook

    CCROC took three vehicles and crews to Millbrook in a bid to encourage more members to participate in BAMA events. Simon Atkinson Mike Pollock and Richard Pates were our first timers and I think that despite our scores (it's the taking part that counts!) we had a great day out and they sould be back for more in future.
